Yesterday I found that sometimes my new air pistol would shoot 2 pellets in one shot, which happened about once or twice per magazine. Therefore, today morning I went to the gunshop to consult if it was normal or not. One of the staff checked the pistol carefully and didn’t found anything apparently abnormal, and then, he tested it with about twenty or more shots and, I swear that I saw a pellet slipping out of the barrel after a normal shot, that staff member kept denying it though. Anyway, finally, I returned the pistol.
I have to say that it was really a great air pistol, with magnificent mechanical sound and comfortable shooting feeling. This problem, one shot with 2 pellets, actually could be ignored but I still returned it. I can’t say why… I’m not some kind of critical person, just… Maybe I subconsciously thought it was a mistake to buy this pistol because an air pistol… IS undoubtedly a toy despite it could really shoot and hurt animals and even people. I just can’t persuade myself to own it. Anyway, the truth is that when I returned that pistol and walked out of the gunshop, I felt at ease.
