More than a month has passed since the last time I post some stories here. In this duration, many things happened that I even can only remember and enumerate just a little here.
First, I finally got my Stoeger airgun. I’ve waited for 3 mouthes for this “iron stick” XD, so god knows how excited I was when I received the message from that gunshop. However, when I grabbed that in my hands, a little disappointment occurred in my heart because it was light and looks like a toy water gun. I have a try when I return home and, it was more disappointing for it could barely give me some kick feelings. With a boring gunshot, at that moment I thought I was using a BB gun or something. Not only these, during the following days, this airgun also brought me a lot of trouble. First, I want to recharge the gas cylinder and I found that a hand pump especially adapted to this airgun was necessary. I rushed to some gunshops and attempt to buy a hand pump and then found that all of them were expensive! Well, without choice, right? Then, I found that this airgun was too long that it was hard to match it with a holster that could directly be bought in the gunshops. I needed a holster that was at least 125cm long, could contain a rifle with scope, could be hold on the shoulder, and with space to hold some pellets and papers, which sounds easy to get but I actually spent more than a week to reluctantly get one on Amazon. Third, when I tried to clean the barrel, I found that it was too long that the rod I had was not long enough for the cleaning work, so, well, I had to pay another bill for a longer rod. The last trouble was, when I tried to mount a sight on the airgun, I found that the rail given to me was super limited that made me sigh “what a fuking stupid design”. There are two pieces of 11mm rail: one is 1cm long and another is 6cm long, and between them is where to put the pellet and the magazine. This kind of “genius” design causes a big problem that if I want to mount something on the gun, for not hindering the pellets’ loading, I need to get a piece of additional rail, which is high and very short, or a pair of scope support rings with a high outline (but whether the additional rail or the pair of rings mustn’t be too high or it’s hard for me to aim). After a hard search, I didn’t find a suitable rail, so I bought a pair of rings and a scope. Then, I bought a green laser sight and then found the Picatinny rail on this gun was too soft, which made me search hard and finally buy a 3-slots aluminum accessory Picatinny rail to replace it (for the original screws of this aluminum rail couldn’t fit the gun, I took some screws from a spare scope ring)… Finally, after a lot of hard work and bills, the airgun was ready. Nevertheless, there still had a surprise for me. When I tested the airgun’s power with chicken, it was amazing to see that this baby could pierce through 4 pieces of chicken thigh easily.
Then, congratulations, I finally solve the residential card problem and about 10 days later I could go to get my new card, so I could begin to prepare for the exam for getting the gun license. However, weeks have been passed and gradually I started to doubt if I really need to get this license. I don’t know my future, and I have no idea where I will be after my graduation. I mean, it may take months to pass all the tests, and at that moment, I may not be in Spain by then to get my license. Besides, even if I get the license quickly, should I spend about a thousand euros to buy a shotgun or something? I don’t know. Maybe I could just join the exam to get a license as a souvenir.
For I’ve already wasted a lot of money on that airgun and other things, I have no choice but to find someone to share the apartment where I’m living now. But, it’s hard to find a suitable tenant. I finally found one days ago, but it was a girl that made me quite awkward, and she only decided to rent for just one month. Today there was another girl (so where are those boys?) who came to me to ask about the apartment. Unfortunately, this girl was an outgoing one and a noisemaker. So as a somatoform disorder patient, her existence will absolutely kill me. Otherwise, for my girlfriend doesn’t want me to share my apartment with a girl, I can’t let her know that now I actually am sharing my apartment with a girl OTZ.
