Days ago I downloaded back Minecraft Java Edition and chose the 1.17.1 version to start a brand new game career. However, just after about 2 days’ hanging around in this game, an idea came to me that maybe I could build a server of myself to play with other guys, for I usually played this game alone and I also wanted to give myself some challenge.

“So… Why not? Let’s do it.” I mumbled and began to google some instructions.

However, to tell the truth, it was definitely hard work, for I actually know nothing about those technology things like Linux, programming, server… But I held on, and, step by step, I finally built up a Minecraft server. It ran well, and soon I built the first building in the new world. You can’t how excited I was at that time. I rushed to some BBS and quickly posted the IP address of my server to try to invite some players.

I have to say, it’s a miracle. There’s nothing outstanding or unique in my server, just running an original version game inside without any mods or textures. Nevertheless, there were still guys to be willing to try my server, and some of them even stayed and built their own homes, until now. At present, some guys leave, but still got someone new to join in.

I’m now trying hard to run this server but, as I said before, I know nothing about relevant technology so that the only thing I could do is restarting if there are problems happened. Now what I’m trying is to add some texture packs to make the game more eye-pleasing. Maybe one day, I will re-install the game with a modded server so that we could add mods.

Other things. The airgun that I ordered before hasn’t arrived, now September is coming though. And also I have heard nothing about my resident card. I don’t know when I could get the card to join the gun license exam.
