I bought an airgun of Gamo with a scope about a month ago. However, to tell the truth, from that moment I still kept the old habit and went to the 10m gallery for iron-sight shooting, until the last week. For the first time, I went to the 25m gallery with my scoped airgun last weekend. After homing the scope, I got a not bad result, even with one shot at the target’s center point.
Nevertheless, after that enjoyable shooting, I found a really embarrassing situation from the scope and the rail where fixes it. Isn’t like the Picatinny rail, the rail on this airgun just has 2 vertical slides with which the scope could be clipped on the gun. This shabby design makes the scope keeps sliding back while I’m shooting. For this shit, I had no choice but to twist out a little the screw, which used to vertically fix the rail, to stop the scope. Until now, because of the weather in Madrid, I haven’t tried if this could work. Maybe I’ll try it tomorrow.
